The Platte Canyon School District's middle school and high school cross country programs will be raising funds with a direct goal of $1500 in order to buy a professional "timing matt" for their cross country events. This timing matt, also used by nearly every professional race company in the global running community will provide perfectly accurate results, a streamlined communication between the results table at the race and the actual results page, and the ability to have results ready & complete in a matter of minutes after any race/ division. These timing matts range in price starting anywhere from $1k and run as high as $5k, so the more money the programs raise the higher quality of a timing matt they will be able to purchase.
