Welcome to the 1st annual Basalt Santa Sprint 5K! A festive family friendly 5K race for all ages and abilities (ages 6 & up).

Join us Saturday, December 13th 2025 in Basalt, CO for a holiday race unlike anything you've ever seen before.

Start gun goes off at 9:00AM!

All participants will receive a santa suit included with their registration to wear while racing along with chip timing and a finisher medal. 

Bib and santa suit pick up will take place on Friday evening, December 12th in downtown Basalt (Location TBD) as well as race morning beginning at 7:00AM in Basalt River Park.

• EARLY BIRD PRICING OPENS @ 12:00PM WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5th.
• PRICE INCREASE FOR ALL GROUPS AT MIDNIGHT FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21st.

COURSE INFO:

• The 5K course will take place through out the greater old town area, navigating neighborhood streets, bike paths, and sidewalks. The race will start and finish in Basalt River Park. Course map will be released in the coming weeks.
• STROLLERS ARE WELCOME ON COURSE!
