Adams 12 Five Star Schools and the District Health Advisory Committee (DHAC) deeply believe in the concept of educating the whole child.
The purpose of the Adams 12 DHAC is to provide collaborative, strategic direction that promotes a healthy foundation for our school community through the whole child model.
This event grants us the opportunity to connect with our school community and share the importance of health and wellness in our schools. All funds raised will go toward enhancing wellness programs in district schools and continuing in the fight to improve the health of our staff, our community, and our students!
Registration fees do apply and are not tax-deductible or refundable. Included in registration fees are race t-shirts and water and fruit will be available at the finish area. Prizes and discounts from our sponsors will be awarded.
Race-Day Registration and Packet Pick Up will be open from 7:00-7:45 am at the race venue.

Adams 12 is made up of 55 schools housing ~38,700 students and 5,000 employees. Our reach extends across 5 cities in the Denver/Metro Area including Broomfield, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Thornton, and Westminster. According to Kids Count Colorado 2015, Adams County ranks 21st out of 25 counties in the area of child well-being. Despite our low ranking, it is also well known that improving all aspects of a child’s well-being leads to greater success academically. With the combination of these factors and your help, this gives us the great opportunity to impact many lives in not only education, but also in the health and future success of the children in our community. See how Adams 12 Wellness is impacting district schools.
