RFWTT DUATHLON 2020 (MEMBERS ONLY)

This event is  Sunday the 16th starting at  7:00Am. Transition will be at the Carbondale Middle School parking lot 180 Snowmass Drive. It will be a time trial start. We will have 4 waves, sending a runner off every 20 seconds. We will have a designated start wave for everyone. Wave and start times will be assigned prior to race day.

Participants will need to show up 30 minutes prior to their start time to check in, get their bibs, and set up their transition area.

The event will start at the Carbondale Middle School parking lot. We’ll start with a 1 mile run, transition to the bike for 11.2 miles on the Rio Grande Trail, and then finish with a 5k on the Crystal Valley Trail finishing on the track located at the Middle School. The course will be marked in chalk and cones, and directed by volunteers.

A zoom meeting lecture will be required viewing prior to race day. Zoom link will be sent out on Friday August 14th. Lecture will go over all race details.

We will have 1 aid station with water before the turnaround on the 5k run. We’ll also have a cooler with Gatorade and water at the finish line.
