Join Us for the 5K/10K Run or Walk to Support Education in Uganda!
This year, we’re moving the 5K/10K to Centennial for a wider, less busy trail. The run will take place on August 22nd from 8–11am, starting from the Family Worship Center (6395 S Clarkson Street), adjacent to Milliken Park.
Route: The course follows the Highland Canal, beginning at Clarkson Street and heading north to Orchard.
Why We Run or Walk:
ALL proceeds from this event support the education of our students in Uganda through two key initiatives:
Susies Higher Ed Fund: As our students pursue secondary and vocational programs, costs rise. This fund help offset tuition, supplies, and other educational expenses.

True Impact Ministries mission is to serve and empower orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. We accomplish our mission through three specific approaches:

True Impact Ministries works directly with pastors and community leaders in Uganda. Over the last 15+ years, our organization has helped fund infrastructure in the form of school buildings, dormitories, kitchens, and water projects. We began offering child sponsorships in 2011 to provide food, clothing, tuition and medical assistance for almost 250 children.
Children in our program attend respected primary and secondary schools. Our partnership with local leaders offers the children guidance in life, school and faith. Our goal is for the graduates of our program to be fully independent adults that give back to their community.

This mission depends on the generosity of donations to special projects and child sponsorships.
