1st Annual Aicardi Warrior Princess 5k/10k Virtual Race

The first annual Aicardi Syndrome Foundation Warrior Princess Virtual 5k/10k. If you don't know how a virtual race works here's the information. A virtual race can be done at any venue that you wish. You can walk, jog, skip or run the distance of your choice. You can complete your race at the gym on a treadmill, a practice run in town, a stroll in the park, or another local racing event. I believe in the honor system so no proof is required for your race, but it would be awesome if you could upload pictures and tell us about your experience. It would be great if you could upload photos to the event page here as well. Each registered runner will recieve a custom medal designed just for this race. The medal is 3" and comes with the purple ribbon. If we reach 500 registrations we will go up to the 4" medal! So the more registrations we get the better your BLING! All runners also recieve a custom downloadable race bib.

Why should I do a virtual race?

1. The chance to add a really cool medal, aka Bling, to your collection

2. Complete control over your schedule. Complete the race on your time. No travel expenses, no hassle with parking and no long lines at the potty.

3. An opportunity to support a great cause.

Who can participate?

Everybody! There is no age limit and there are no restrictions. So you can run, jog, walk, crawl, run alone, run in a group, run with your pet, bike, hike. It doesn't matter just get out there and get moving.

Can I complete the race with a group?

Yes!

Do I have to complete the distance all at one time or can I break it up into different days?

You are not required to run your race distance all at one time. Please feel free to break it up into several runs if you need to.

When will I recieve my BLING?

All race medals will be mailed out within 30 days of completion of the race.

Do the medals come with a ribbon?

Yes.

I don't live in the U.S. can I still participate?
