Crossover for Change Back2School 5K

The mission of our non-profit, Crossover for Change, is to empower girls and young women in developing countries through athletics.  We believe that athletics are the perfect vehicle to encourage future generations to create a better future for themselves by fostering confidence, empowerment, and leadership. We have held basketball camps in Uganda at Maryhill School for over 400 girls that included everything from a career fair to basketball skills. We have constructed 3 basketball courts in Uganda, and are currently working to fundraise a computer lab, wifi, and scholarship fund.

That’s where you come in! We are aiming to raise $5,000.

We are hosting a fun run that is set to take place on August 10, 2024 at Bear Creek Park, and we want you to come! You are welcome to attend our in-person event 8am-10am at Bear Creek or feel free to run on your own or with family in friends at your favorite spot! Run from wherever you would like in the world and submit your times by 11:59pm on this website for the chance to win!

Pricing is as follows:

$25- adult
$15- student (ENTER CODE: student)
$20- military (ENTER CODE: military)
$20- first responder (ENTER CODE: firstresponder)

We’ll have winners and prizes in a variety of categories:

Fastest female adult
Fastest male adult
Fastest female child
Fastest male child

Winners will be announced by August 11.

If you do not feel like running, donations are also open.
