Welcome to the Summer of Active-ism. Raise your heart rate and support your community.
Log miles, movement time, and activism activities completed during the challenge July 10 – August 10.
Qualifying Activities
Almost anything!
Walking, jogging, running, hiking, cycling, rollerblading, skating, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, gym time, climbing, dancing, volleyball, yoga. If you have questions, send me a message.
However, cumulative miles (such as counting steps from a full day) do not count. The activity must have a start and an end.
Activism Points
There are two ways to get activism points:
- Donate to an organization, mutual aid, or fundraiser of your choice. 1 point per $5 donation.
- Contact your representatives. 1 point per contact. Any topic, any type of contact (email, phone call, postcard, etc)
Let's also be clear about who we're supporting: 🏳️🌈LGBTQAI+🏳️⚧️, Palestine🍉,✊🏾BIPOC, Immigrants (Anti-🧊), Public Lands 🏕️
Build a Team
- WHO: Friends, family, co-worker, and anyone who you think wants to up their activity and their activism this summer. Minimum 2 people. Maximum 6.
- HOW: Appoint 1 person to be the team leader and have them sign up first. They will have to make a team name, but it can be changed up until July 10
