We will be making snow for our race if mother nature does not comply. Our competition will be held in nearly all conditions.
All competitors will receive a welcome bag with a custom beanie, meal tickets for competition days & coupons from local businesses.

Teams must register skier & rider together

Competition dates will be January 25 & 26.
In all classes, Horses and Skiers may register together up to the max number of entries. For Sport & Snowboard you will be matched at random for Sunday before the end of competition on Saturday.
Scoring for Sport & Snowboard will be determined by averaging your best ride on Saturday with your best ride on Sunday. Skiers and Riders are scored individually by their skiers time.

Open Class: 1 Match on Saturday, 1 Match on Sunday format Teams are considered to be the highest skill with open having the largest prize purse. Skiers are limited to 4 entries in open. Teams will compete together throughout the weekend.
$200 per team

Sport Class: 1 Match on Saturday, 1 draw on Sunday format  Sport class teams are considered to be intermediate level skill that may not have the experience to ride open.  Skiers are limited to 3 entries in the sport class.
$150 per team

Snowboard Class: 1 Match on Saturday, 1 draw on Sunday format  Snowboard class teams are the only class where horses may compete in other categories.  Boarders are limited to 3 entries in the Snowboard class.
$150 per team

Novice Class: 1 match, either day Teams are considered new to the sport, beginner level competitors riding horses that may be new to the sport.  No prize money is offered for Novice Class. Skiers are limited to 2 entires in the Novice class. Novice riders will select either Saturday or Sunday. Prizes awarded Sunday. There are no maximum number of times you can enter as a rider/horse. 
$100 per team

Junior Class: 1 match, either day Both rider and skier must be 14 or under to be eligible for awards. Up to age 16 can ride in the Junior class
Free entry (limited number available). Junior riders will select either Saturday or Sunday. Prizes are awarded Sunday. Youth registration will open October 1, 2024.

Combined times (average): All teams in every division will race one time per entry on Saturday & Sunday.
Standings will be determined by the combined average time of your best individual run both days.
Your best time from Saturday will be averaged with your best time from Sunday.

Prizes: First place in each division wins a buckle & jacket
First through third in Open, Sport & Snowboard win cash ($20k total)
First through third in Novice & junior win really cool prizes from our sponsors.

We are so excited to announce the addition of day money for Open, Sport & Snowboard. This brings our total prize purse to $25,000!

The Fairgrounds will have up to 200 stalls available for horses. They require shavings to be purchased from their vendor.
