Join us for our inaugural Be A Hero 5K presented by High Country Beverage. This family-friendly event has been designed for serious runners (with a challenging, shaded trail run), little runners (Mini Heroes Dash inside our office park) and every type of runner in between. We invite you to sponsor, run or walk, volunteer or to enjoy the festivities on a beautiful summer morning. Please dress the part by running as your favorite hero: super or every day.
100% of the proceeds raised will provide direct care to our clients.
The 5K starts in Rolland Moore Park - the finish line is in the Spring Creek Medical Park in front of the ChildSafe Building. The Mini Heroes Dash start/finish is in the Spring Creek Medical Park in front of the ChildSafe Building.
Have a great run for a great cause!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Will the race be canceled?
A: Rain, snow or sun, we still run! Please decide on your participation based on your own circumstances and remember that all participants run at their own risk. In the event of catastrophic conditions, we do not issue refunds.
Q: What is available for purchase at the race?
A: Extra race t-shirts (cotton) are available for $10. All race shirts are available first-come-first-served, so we can’t guarantee sizes or availability.
Q: Do I have to register my child for the race?
A: Yes, all participants will be given a race bib.
Q: Do I have to register my kid(s) for the Mini Heroes Dash?
A: Youth 6 and under should line up at the starting line before 8 AM. Be sure to purchase a t-shirt for for your child when registering so they are guaranteed to have a race t-shirt.
Q: When does the course need to be clear?
A: By 10 AM. If there are still participants on the course, we cannot ensure safety measures will be available.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Unfortunately no. We are planning to incorporate our furry friends in future events but would like to work our way up to it gradually. Stay tuned!
Q: Can I push a stroller?
A: Yes! This is a family friendly event. If you're a fast stroller, please be cautious and line up towards the sides and back. When running/walking, please stay to the right of the path.
