Description
This is a 5K in memory of Mitchell Procell. This event is a Race, Latern Release and Bonfire. This event is intended to raise money for a Diabetic Camp in which Mitchell attended for 6 years. Camp Sweeney specializes in educating children and families with Type 1 Diabetes. Mitchell enjoyed going to camp each year, and formed many friendships that he treasured. Camp Sweeney was Mitchell's home away from home. Mitchell learned to live and love life with diabetes. Mitchell always hoped for a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. I know that this 5K will honor Mitchell by helping a cause that he was passionate about.
****For those that are unable to make the race, feel free to sign up and run wherever on March 13th. We would love to see pictures of where you completed the 5K. Please make sure to include an address in which to send your T-Shirt. ****
