Welcome to the 20th Annual Golden Gallop!

Lace up and join us on Sunday, September 20, 2026 for Golden's biggest annual run. You'll run right through downtown, under the iconic "Welcome" arch, with start and finish at Golden High School.

Dogs Welcome!

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the 5K and 10K. Register your dog in the "Add On" section and they'll receive a Golden Gallop bandana in your race packet. 
Dogs may not participate in the Kids Fun Run.

Race Packet Pick Up - Now at Golden High School

• Saturday, September 19th - Packet pickup will take place at Golden High School (701 24th St, Golden, CO, 80401) from 10am - 4pm
• Sunday (race day), September 20th - pick up your packet at Golden High School beginning at 7 a.m. until the start of race

• Register by September 1 to guarantee your t-shirt size.

• Cash prizes: 1st $150 · 2nd $100 · 3rd $50 for M/F in both 5K and 10K (12 awards total). Course record bonus: $100.
• Age group awards for M/F in 5K and 10K: 10 & Under, 11–13, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80+.
• Runners with dogs or strollers must start at the back of the pack.
