This event is "Free," and anyone can register. The catch? To take the starting line, every runner must raise at least $200 for a charitable cause of their choice, or provide proof that they personally donated $200 to a charity close to their heart.

Starting from the Jefferson County Government Center in Golden, CO, runners will embark on an unforgettable point-to-point journey:

• Leg 1: Head northwest on the 6th Avenue Paved Trail to connect with the Clear Creek Trail.

• Leg 2: Follow the Clear Creek Trail down to the South Platte River Trail, where you'll head south.

• Leg 3: Run right through the heart of downtown Denver on the South Platte River Trail until you hit Lakewood Gulch.

• Leg 4: Push west along the Lakewood Gulch Trail straight to the Decatur-Federal Station.

• The Finish: Board the Lightrail at Decatur-Federal and take the train right back to your car in Golden.
