Description
Welchester Elementary School PTA is proud to host the third annual SOAR 5K!
All proceeds support the Welchester PTA with student clubs, enrichment learning, providing resources to classrooms, and creating events that bring families together and build meaningful community.
As this event continues to grow each year, we hope to bring even more of the Golden and JeffCO areas together for connection and partnership!
The challenging SOAR 5K Run and Walk includes a scenic double loop course around Daniels Park and the Welchester Elementary community. The SOAR KIDS FUN RUN for kids ages 12 and under is a 1K non-competitive event that loops runners through beautiful Welchester Tree Grant Park.
This year, we're adding to the festivities with a Kids Activity Village that will include:
Jeffco Library-sponsored yard games
Sidewalk Chalk Art
Emergency Vehicle Tours
Bounce House and Inflatable Slide
and more to come...
Last day to guarantee your t-shirt size is Friday April 10! Shirt sizes will be limited if order is placed after that date.
Welchester Elementary families receive a $5 per registrant discount when registering together.
Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers receive Runner's Roost gift cards.
