Too Hot to Trot 5k and Festival

All profits from this event go to Luv-a-Dad to financially assist fathers with cancer!

Celebrate your wonderful dad this Father's Day weekend and help a dad in need along the way.

Every racer receives a free t-shirt, water bottle, goody bag, and full meal!

The Course:

The race has been moved to the country. The race starts and ends at the founder of Luv-a-Dad's residence and routes through beautiful farmland. Part of the course runs along an irrigation ditch with the sound of soothing water flowing. Be prepared to run on dirt and asphalt roads. We will have one water station close to the middle of the race course. The course is well marked at every turn.

Top three finishers in each age groupNine Age Groups (Under 12, 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+)

Placement Medals and prize ranging in value from $10 to $200 (May not be traded or turned in for cash)

Team Spirit AwardIf you would like to participate in this contest, get a group together and give yourselves a team name. Show your team spirit! You can wear matching hats or dress up, go through the course together, create a team chant, etc. Just be creative and have fun! Luv-a-Dad volunteers will pick the team with the BEST TEAM SPIRIT to recognize and receive a SPECIAL PRIZE.

After Party/Festival:

Don't think that this event is just for avid runners! We do have a great course for the serious competitors out there, but we also have plenty of fun for those who aren't the running type. Join us for food, glitter tattoos, outdoor crafts, an inflatable obstacle course, yard games, water fun, music and more after the race! All of this is included in your race entry fee. Want to join in the festival fun, but would rather sit out for the run? That's fine too! You may purchase meal tickets at the event and entry to the festival is free.
