Description
Bring your family and friends and join in the fun at the 7th Annual HRCA Mother’s Day 5K! Soak in the amazing views of the front range, Highlands Ranch Windmill and Highlands Ranch Mansion by running, walking, or strolling. Sign up dad and the kids too and make it a morning of activity the entire family can enjoy.
First-time 5K run/walkers, elite runners, and moms/dads with strollers, are all invited to enjoy the fun on Saturday, May 8th!
All racers, staff, vendors, volunteers, etc... will be required to wear a mask before and after the race. There will be a 20-minute start window (subject to change) from 9:00-9:20 a.m...During the race, runners may take off their masks but need to put it back on after they cross the finish line. All pancakes will be served in to-go containers including to-go syrup. If waiting in line for packet pickup or pancakes please maintain social distance guidelines.
There will be a start window for the race to keep participants socially distanced. The exact length of the starting window will be available in the coming weeks leading up to the race.

We race rain, shine, sleet or snow 99% of the time! However, in the case of severe weather (lightning, tornado, bomb cyclone, hurricane, tsunami) and the course becomes inaccessible and/or pose a major safety danger to participants, the race may be postponed.
Awards will be awarded to the top 3 male & female in each of the below categories. There will be no awards ceremony onsite. Awards will be available for pick up the following week.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
VIEW COURSE MAP
The views from this course are the best in Highlands Ranch! Never before has anyone been allowed to run on the gravel road that takes you along this scenic route from Mountain Ridge Middle School to the Highlands Ranch Mansion and back. Participants will have spectacular views of the entire front range, Denver city skyline and the Highlands Ranch Historic Windmill. Great course for beginners. The run has a total ascent of 196.85 ft and has a maximum elevation of 6,059.71 ft.
Additional Course Details
There will be one aid station available at approx. mile 1.5 that will have bottled water.
Course will be well marked with mile markers at every mile.
This race course is family friendly! Please feel free to push your child in a stroller. Out of courtesy and safety for fellow runners, please start in the back. Due to having permission to host our race on private property, NO DOGS are allowed on this course so please leave your furry friends at home.

If you cannot make early packet pickup, you can pick up your packet race morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the registration table.
There will be no on-site registration. Online registration will remain open until the start of the race.
