Description
The 31st annual Fed Cup 5K takes place on May 16, 2015 at the Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, CO. This family friendly event includes a free Kid's 1 Kilometer Fun Run, free food and drinks, and face painter for the kids. The 5K run and walk both feature team competitions to determine the fastest 4 person team in both divisions. Individual trophies are awarded to the top 3 men and women finishers in both the run and the walk and to the top three teams in the run and walk. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group for men and women and also to the top four team members in the first three teams in both the run and walk. Top three individual trophy winners in the run and walk do not receive age group awards (i.e., no double-dipping), but are eligible for team medals if they are also members of one of the top three teams.
