Description
Sweetheart City Racing is excited to once again hold this year’s event. With a race start and awards in Downtown Loveland it will be right in the center of the action of the inaugural Loveland Sweetheart Festival – Love, Locks and Lights. You will love our newly designed 4-mile race course along the River’s Edge Natural Area.
The race will begin promptly at 2:30 p.m. Racers will need to arrive early to assure smooth parking (as it is limited) as well as an on-time start. Join us on February 10th, 2024 for a day full of fun, love, and fitness as we work to raise money for the Thompson School District High School and Middle School Cross Country teams.
Race First Stop:
Is parking available? Yes. There is a free parking garage, downtown parking spots, and lots near the start/finish line. Start/finish line is near Cleveland and 4th.
Am I guaranteed a shirt? To be guaranteed a shirt you must register by Jan 30th. We always order extras but register early to guarantee you get one! We always have other swag available if we run out of shirts.
Is there race day registration? Yes. ALL registration is online. If you want to pay with cash or check please see one of the volunteers to assist you. Price goes up on race day. Please see the pricing on the registration link.
Will you cancel the race if it’s cold, snowing, windy or rainy? No. We will hold the event rain or shine. Lightening will delay the event, but that chance is very, VERY slim.
Where is Pre-Race PACKET PICKUP? Redemption Church in downtown Loveland, Friday, February 9th, 5:30pm-6:30pm. You can pick up LIVE and VIRTUAL packets here. We encourage you to pick up your packet on Friday night and not race day.
Race Day Packet pickup will be held 1:30pm-2:15pm near the start/finish line. Look for the huge arch on 4th St.
Where can I pick up my virtual packet? If you have not picked up your packet at any available times listed above, we will take the virtual packets to a sponsor’s place of business and contact you through email. If you would like it mailed, please choose the add-on “P&H for Virtual packets” when you register. Those needing to be mailed will be mailed the following week.

National Anthem Singers
Vocal Flair Quartet is coming back to sing the National Anthem to kick off the Sweetheart Classic! They love singing to your special valentine. If you are looking for a unique and very cool way to surprise your sweetie, they are accepting appointments for Feb 13th and Feb 14th. Click HERE to check them out. You will NOT be disappointed.
