The REAL JV State XC Championships + All-Ages XC Relay

• 4pm All-Ages XC Relay
• 4:40pm Girls 5K JV Championship
• 5:20pm Boys 5K JV Championship
• ~6pm Awards

• CO HS athletes only, and
• Athletes who will not/did not not compete in the 2023 CO State XC Championships, and
• Athletes who did not finish in their team's top 7 (3A/4A/5A) or top 6 (2A) at their Regional meet.*
• Basically, no end-of-season varsity runners, please and thank you.
• *If an athlete finished in the top 7 at Regionals, their team qualified for State, but the athlete didn't compete at State, they are eligible to compete in The REAL JV State XC Championships.

• Run: Unlimited
• Score: 5
• 6th & 7th runners (if applicable) will be "pushers" in the race.

Information:

• All registration (individuals & team) takes place here on RunSignup this year.
• Late Registration ends Tuesday, October 31st.
• No Race-Day Team Registration.
• Race-Day Individual Registration will be available from 2-3:30pm.

Registration Fees:

• Team Registration (any combination of Girls & Boys)
  • 50+ Runners = $550 late registration
  • 30-49 Runners = $500 late registration
  • 15-29 Runners = $425 late registration
  • 1-14 Runners = $250 late registration
• Individual Registration: $30 late registration / $35 race day

Instructions:

• Team Entries
  • Open this Google Sheet Template for CSV File.
  • Click on "Make a Copy" and you'll have your own copy of the REAL JV State XC Champs Entries Google Sheet.
  • Add your team name to the beginning of the file name (example: Shermer HS_REAL JV State XC Champs Entries).
  • Populate the Sheet with your athletes' information, making sure to include values for all columns. You should include all athletes on this Sheet (girls and boys).
  • From the File menu, select Download and then Comma Separated Values (.csv). The CSV file will download.
  • Email that downloaded CSV file to the Race Director @ coachtimgeldean@gmail.com.
  • Note: If you're unable to use Google Sheets to create your CSV file, you can:
    • Create a CSV file via another method/spreadsheet. The column headers we need are: Team, Event (Girls 5K JV Championship | Boys 5K JV Championship), First Name, Last Name, Gender (M or F)
    • Still need help? Please email the Race Director @ coachtimgeldean@gmail.com.
  • We'll import your list of athletes into RunSignup.
  • We'll create an invoice in RunSignup based on the number of entries.

• Individual Entries
  
  • Click the Girls 5K JV Championship or Boys 5K JV Championship "Sign Up" button.
  • Enter Registrant #1 info.
  • Check Waiver box & click "Continue".
  • Click "Join an Existing Team" and select your high school from the dropdown.
  • Note: Please email the Race Director @ coachtimgeldean@gmail.com if your high school is not included in the dropdown list.
  • Click "Continue" to proceed.

Information:

• Late Relay Team Registration ends Tuesday, October 31st.
• Race-Day Registration closes at 3pm.

Registration Fees:

• 2-Person Team Registration: $25 each late registration / $30 each race day

Instructions:

• Note: Registration Fee is per Registrant.
• Enter Registrant #1 info, choosing All-Ages 2 x 2.5K XC Relay. Click "+ Add Another Registrant" & enter Registrant #2 info, choosing All-Ages 2 x 2.5K XC Relay event.
• Check Waiver box & click "Continue".
• For Registrant #1, click "Create a New Team".
• Select Team Type from dropdown.
• Enter Team Name. (Note: Race admin will edit inappropriate Team Names.)
• For Registrant #2, click "Join the Same Team as ____".
• Click "Continue" to proceed.

All Donations will directly fund our financial assistance program for athletes. REAL Training aims to help athletes reach their potential as athletes and humans, while not excluding athletes who may lack financial means. We don't want money to be a limiting factor in the development of young runners. Every dollar helps, so even small Donations add up and make a difference. Thank you!
