Description
Join Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County as we celebrate the kickoff of Year 3 of our plan to build 15 homes in 5 years! The race will be a huge thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, sub-contractors, and Partner Families as well as an opportunity to learn more about how Habitat Archuleta supports workforce homeownership in the county.
Wolf Song Running Adventures is providing finish line timing services for those of you going for a 5k PR! We'll also have pastries, coffee, and juice from local vendors at the finish line. Please note that the majority of the race is predominately on gravel/dirt roads with very little pavement.
T-shirts and goodie bags will be provided.
Each person must register to participate in the 5k. Online registration closes at midnight on May 16. Registration fee increases to $30 on race day. You can register on the event morning from 9:00-9:30 am. Numbered bibs will be given to each participant and can be picked up with your goodie bag on event morning between 9:00 and 9:45 am. All proceeds from the event will go toward building materials for our 2024 build season and lunches for 2024 volunteers.
Goodie Bag Pickup
Participants can pick up their goodie bags the day of the race near the start/finish line from 9:00-9:30 am.

The start and finish line will be the PLPOA Clubhouse on Port Ave. Please follow signs for overflow parking, as there will be another event at the Clubhouse that day. And try to carpool!
