Pagosa New Year's Day 5k Run/Walk

RACE INFORMATION:

Get your New Year started on the right foot with the New Year's Day 5k Run/Walk!

The race will begin at 10am sharp.  The race will take place on the Lake Forest path and the starting line will be at the boat access area at Lake Forest in Pagosa Lakes.  The intersection is Lake Forest Circle and Arrowhead Drive.

DIRECTIONS TO RACE:

From US Hwy 160 you will travel north on North Pagosa Blvd for approximately 1.3 miles.   You will turn left on Lake Forest Circle.  Continue on Lake Forest Circle for approximately 1.5 miles until you come to Arrowhead and Lake Forest Circle.  You will see the starting area from the road.

PARKING:

We ask that you park in the parking lot of the boat access area to the lake.  It will be marked when you arrive at the race area.

ENTRY FEES:

$25 Online Registration - Closes Friday, December 31st at 5pm

$35 Day Of Registration - CASH OR CHECK ONLY.

PACKET PICKUP:

Packet pickup is on the morning of the race beginning at 9:00am. Please arrive no later than 9:30 to check in.

MISC.

T-Shirts will not be given at this event but a souvenir gift will be included with each runner packet.

ONLY THE FIRST 100 REGISTRANTS ARE GUARANTEED GIFT BAGS.

A portion of the race proceeds goes towards the Pagosa Fun Pirate Fund, which is a fund that helps the Pagosa Springs High School Cross Country team.  Whether they need help to pay for their summer camp or if an athlete needs a pair of shoes, this fund is established to help meet their needs.  If you'd like to contribute more to this fund, please consider a leaving a donation at the registration table.

This is a winter race. Please dress according to the weather.  Although this race is mostly on a paved path and sidewalks, there is the possibility for snow, packed snow, ice, mud and water.  You participate in this race at  your own risk.
