Course Description:   The 5K and 10K runs begin (and end) on Union Ave, directly in front of the Gold Dust Saloon at 8:00 am. All runners head north on Union, then right on D Street, turn right on Main Street, over the Main Street Bridge, turn left and go downhill to the Arkansas River. This is where the runners split. 10K’ers turn left  (west) on the River trail and go about 1.5 miles upriver, turn around at the water stop  and return, then follow the 5K course.  When 5K’ers reach the River trail, they turn right, (east) toward Runyon Lake on the south side of the Arkansas River. Runners cross the River at the Moffat Street footbridge.  Runners follow the bike trail by Runyon Lake and finish running on the beautiful Pueblo Historic Riverwalk. We exit the Riverwalk at Union Ave. and run south to the finish, in front of the Gold Dust Saloon. The course will be well marked with plenty of Course Marshalls. One water stop for the 5K and 2 for the 10K. The walk begins in front of the Gold Dust at 7:45 am and is one complete loop of the Riverwalk, which is not quite 2 miles.
