NWDC's Final Raptor Resolution Run

Join the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center and the Southern Colorado Runners in celebrating 12 years of this wonderful event with our FINAL Raptor Resolution Run! The race will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the NWDC River Campus, 5200 Nature Center Road, Pueblo, CO 81003. All proceeds support our efforts to rehabilitate the injured, ill, and orphaned birds of prey at the Raptor Center who need our help. Fulfill your new year's resolution and #RunForTheRaptors!

The Course

NWDC's Raptor Resolution Run includes a 5-Mile Race and a 2-Mile Walk. The course is mostly flat and winds along the Arkansas River through a scenic area west of the River Campus. The 5-mile race is limited to runners only, but the walk is open to folks with strollers and carts. Please, no pets.

Event T-shirts

Event T-shirts are available for an additional cost during your online registration. Supplies are limited! To guarantee you receive your T-shirt on Race Day, you must register for the event and pay for your T-shirt by 11:59 PM on January 6th. Participants who register after this date and time may purchase a shirt on Race Day, as supplies last. T-shirt sizing is unisex.

Packet Pick-Up

All online-registered participants may collect their packets between 9 AM - 4 PM on January 17 - 19, 2024 at the River Campus Gift Shop, 5200 Nature Center Road, Pueblo, CO 81003, or from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM on Race Day (January 20, 2024), at the Same-Day Registration table.

Prizes & Freebies! Must Be Present To Collect

• The overall 5-Mile Race male, female, and non-binary champions will each be awarded their choice of a grand prize: (1) Raptor Presentation, or (1) Raptor Release, or (1) overnight stay in the Horseshoe Lodge!
  
  
• Other prizes will also be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each 5-Mile Race age group.
  
  
• All 2-Mile Walk registrants will be entered into a raffle for (1) Raptor Presentation or (1) Raptor Release at an NWDC location.
  
  
• ALL event participants will receive a free breakfast burrito! All prize winners must be present to win.
  
  
• The first 100 participants to register will receive a FREE NWDC neck gaiter!
