Join Pueblo Rape Crisis Services (PRCS) for the annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event at CSU-Pueblo (the event will start and end at the fountain on campus).
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is the international men's march to raise awareness about sexual assault and its impact on women. Men are encouraged to do the 1 mile walk in high heeled shoes. PRCS will also host the (Em)Power 5k run to show support for all individuals impacted by sexual assault. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the run. Unlike the walk, participants in the run will not be permitted to wear high heels. Proceeds from this event will go toward PRCS services such as advocacy and case management for survivors of sexual violence, as well as outreach and prevention opportunities within the community.
