Description
According to the CDC, an estimated 50 million Americans battle chronic pain. Our teenage sister is a victim of this hidden illness. She suffers from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), and doctors have limited options to ease her intense nerve pain. We have watched her miss out on some of the most formative years of her life, so we were inspired to raise awareness in the Steamboat Community. All profits will be donated to support the US Pain Foundation. This organization aims to spread awareness, support people who suffer from chronic pain, provide resources to make treatment more accessible, and provide information about chronic pain. They also organize events, programs, and support groups.

About the run:

The run will take place on the Spring Creek Trail near the High School. It will begin at the gazebo and loop around on the Ditch Trail. After the race, a raffle will be held with music and snacks. Even if running is not your jam, please come support efforts to raise awareness and raise money!
