Race Day Instructions will be emailed on Wednesday. First and foremost, please note the Packet Pick-up time change and location and the great news about our giveaway.

Packet Pick-up  - Wednesday, November 24th, from 3:45pm-5:45pm at Ski Haus, 1457 Pine Grove Road. We have moved the time back just a bit to accommodate those arriving in town or getting off of work. Please note that Ski Haus closes at 6pm so we need to wrap up by 5:45pm.

We are so excited to be able to offer our cool race buff/tubies to the first 450 Adults and Youth that pre-registered for the race as opposed to the 300 that was first published.

Hello Turkey Trot participants - We are back for an in person event this November 25th. Come experience what has become one of Steamboat Spring's greatest Thanksgiving traditions. This race/fun run/walk has proven to be such a special day for friends, families and visitors and benefits the Steamboat Springs High School Track & Field and Cross Country programs. The Turkey Trot is a 5K course that starts and ends at Steamboat Springs High School, traveling to beautiful Strawberry Park and back. Dress in your cold weather running gear or even a Thanksgiving Day costume.

Donations: Non-perishable food donations will be accepted on site for Lift Up Food Bank! A bin will be located near the finish line.

When: Thursday, November 25th, 2021, starting at 9:30am with Opening Ceremony a few minutes prior.  "Day of" registration from 8:15-9:00am.

Who: Runners, walkers, competitive adaptive, strollers, burly trailers, and leashed dogs on race course (note we will NOT be finishing in Gardner Stadium so your pups are welcome to come!). This is an out and back course so distances may be shortened for any children and/or athletes with special considerations. Wheelchair access is available to all facilities involved in the race. Depending on weather, the course could be dry, icy or snowy, so you might consider yak trax or other shoe traction.

Pre-Registration - Online registration will close at 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 23rd. You can also register during packet pickup at Ski Haus on Wednesday, November 24th from 3:45-5:45pm. Day of Registration will be available from 8:15-9:00 am in the main entrance of Steamboat Springs High School, 45 Maple Street. Please note the increase in prices for Day of Registration on Thursday morning.
