Description
All donations raised from this competition and our Rocky Run 5K go directly to Eldorado's PTO, which supports the school in a wide variety of ways. A few things that PTO funds are: Community Nights, teacher allocations, school maintenance and beautification, adding hours to our paraprofessionals, Health Para, Gifted & Talented Coordinator, teacher conference meals, and more! By participating, you will directly benefit over 450 children in our community, enriching their education and supporting an array of extraordinary programs that make Eldorado PK-8 a standout school in the Boulder Valley School District.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: When and where do I pick up my race packet (bib, etc)?
A: Pick up your packet(s) on Friday, April 17th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. outside the Eldorado main entrance OR on race morning starting at 8:00 a.m.
Q: What will make this a fun event for our family to attend on Saturday morning?
A: We will have snacks and refreshments from several local businesses: Paul’s Coffee, Moe’s Bagels, Orchid Island Juice, and MORE! There will be Mini Dash at 8:30 a.m. for ages 6 and under. We will also have music and an awards ceremony.
Q: Will there be prizes for the winning runners?
A: Yes! There will also be prizes awarded to one adult and one student who are dressed with the MOST SCHOOL SPIRIT, so break out your purple, gold, and eagle-themed attire!
Q: Are strollers or bikes allowed on the race course? What about dogs? Do I have to run?
A: Participants may push strollers during the race, but please leave bikes and scooters at home! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to run/walk with their owners. Walkers are more than welcome, enjoy the morning at your own speed!
Q: What can we expect from the race course?
A:The race course will be clearly marked with cones and volunteers. We will have police officers stationed at road crossings, and a water station at the course turnaround point. The race will begin and end at the south side of Eldorado. Bathrooms will be available at school and at Wildflower Park.
