Description
The Six-Pack Series: A series of 6 races, starting in June 2012 with one race happening each month. The first month is a 1 mile run and each month we increase the distance so that after 6 months, you will race in a 6.2 mile race a.k.a. a 10k race! We’ve designed this series specifically with the non-runner in mind, but there are still challenging courses and great venues for seasoned runners as well!
The Westminster events support Growing Home and the Arvada events support the Arvada Community Food Bank.

Description
Welcome to the 4th Race in the 6-Pack Series. This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you've participated in the other 6-Pack events or not.
The 6-Pack Series starts on June 16, 2012 and offers a progressive series of race distances from 1 Mile to 10k over the course of six months.
Location:
Big Dry Creek Trail, Westminster, CO. Bib pick up and onsite registration is at Red City Cafe (above the trail and adjacent to the Ice Centre.) 10710 Westminster Blvd. STE 120, Westminster, CO 80020
Distance: 4 Miles OR 5k (out and back course)
Times and Dates: Saturday, September 15 , 2012
7:30 - 8:00 AM Onsite registration at Red City Cafe $30.00 (Adjacent to the ICE Centre.)
8:00 - 8:30 AM Bib pick up at Red City Cafe for pre-registered racers.
9:00 AM Start at the Big Dry Creek Trail (about a 1-2 min walk from Red City Cafe)
9:45 AM Awards and Drawings at the Promenade Terrace (Finish Line area) Must be present to win - no awards will be mailed.
Entry Fee:
$25.00. Register online until September 13th at 8PM, or register race day morning.
On race day, the fee is $30.00. This race will have about 100-150 people, so chances of winning something GREAT are pretty high!
Prizes and awards:
+At the END of the race, each participant will receive a PINT GLASS, as well as coupons for free and discounted offers at local businesses. There is no T-shirt with this race.
+ Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female winners and top 3 age groupers winners. (18 and under, 19-29, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and up)
+This race supports Growing Home, a Westminster 501(c)3 organization which provides support to local children and families. Bring 5 items to donate on race day and you'll be entered into a raffle for fun prizes!
Parking:
Use the lots at the Ice Centre. We encourage the use of environmentally thoughtful transportation. This area is easily accessible by bicycle and bus. Check out Ridearrangers.org for event specific carpooling, etc.
Course and Water:
This is an out and back course. We will have water coolers at the start/finish area, but NO disposable cups. Please bring your own water bottle for drinking water.
