Yes - you may bring your dog to run with you.  Just make sure he's well behaved, stays on a leash, gets cleaned up after and doesn't trip anyone while on the course!

Water and Food

BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE.  All 3W Races finish line areas are cup-free to keep needless waste out of our landfills.  Thanks for joining us to promote responsible stewardship of our resources.  We WILL have coolers of water available for you to fill your personal bottle before and after the event.  On distances 5 miles and longer, there will be one water station with compostable cups available.  Use our cups or fill your bottle at the station!  Many runners find it faster to start with a full bottle and not ever slow down for a water station!

Post-race snacks, such as bagels and bananas, and water are provided at each event.

Timing, Results and Awards

Courses are accurately measured and marked and timing is done electronically with times posted online in real time!  View results at during the race! 

For your time to be recorded accurately, you'll wear a race bib with your assigned race number on it.  The timer needs to see that bib number when you cross the finish line.  You'll get a new bib with a different number each time you race, so you can keep your bib after the race, or turn it in to the Recycle Box at the 3W Tent after the race.  Bibs are made of Tyvek and we pay to have them recycled, so please don't just throw them in the trash!  Attach your bib to the FRONT of your shirt or jacket with Safety Pins - we'll give you pins when you pick up your bib.  Many racers keep their safety pins and reuse them at each event.

Please only run through the finish line ONE time.  If you are waiting for a friend to finish and want to run with him/her for the final portion of the race, that is GREAT!  Just veer off to the side before the finish line so we don't count you twice.  If you do cross twice, it's likely that your slower, second time will be the one recorded for you.  :(  That's not fun!

Recognition is given to the top 3 men and women overall in each distance as well as the top three age groupers.

Join us in Westminster for the 6-pack Series race #4!

Series participants will enter at their own pace - running a 1 mile race in the first event and adding a mile at each event to complete a full 10k (6.2 Mile) race at the end of the series.  This Series is designed for the entry level runner/walker looking to get into foot races in a professional, fun and safe environment without the intimidations of a 'big race.'  Participants of all abilities are welcome, rookies or veterans! 

Sign up for the package to recieve a gender specific Six Pack Tech T!  At each race, participants will receive a logo'd pint glass.  Participate in all six events and you'll have a colorful six pack of pint glasses!

The finish line will always remain open until the final participants have returned.  Your time will always be recorded.  Food and water will always be available until every racer has crossed the line!

Bring non-perishable food items to the donation table at the start of each race and you'll be entered into the race day raffle!
PROTEIN-BASED ITEMS such as Peanut Butter, and Canned Chicken

We want to help them by bringing in-kind donations on race day.  Please bring your donation and we'll give you a raffle ticket.  We'll pull raffle tickets during the run and you can check at the 3W Tent after you finish to see if you've won a raffle prize!  The raffle is new at each event date, so be sure to participate each time.  Prizes include awesome items such as massages, race gear and other cool items from our sponsors!


Yes - you may participate with a stroller.  Please start toward the back of the group, so that the quick runners without strollers don't have to dash around you at the start!


We will race rain or shine or snow.  We will NOT race if there is lightning.  (If that is the case, an email will be sent and an update will be posted on the race website with a make-up date/time.)  Since this is a winter and spring series, the liklihood of snow or rain is very high.  Dress appropriately.  Wear layers.  You can leave jackets, hats, etc at the 3W Races tent at the start line where they will be dry and waiting for you upon finishing.  Many racers bring dry shoes and socks in the car so they can change right after running through snow.  The parking for these events is SUPER close to the activity, so leaving items in your car is a great idea!


Parking is very close to the start/finish area.  Feel free to leave your water bottle, jacket, etc in your car while racing.  You can also leave keys, jacket, etc at the 3W Tent and claim it after the race.


The 5k course for this series will be IDENTICAL for the final four events in the series.  What a great opportunity for you to acheive a personal record (PR)!

The progressive distances will share portions of the course with the 5k runners.  Watch the course signage for your distance for appropriate turns!  All course markings will be on the ground or on signs within 2 feet of the ground, usually on the right hand side of the course.

If you encounter cones on the course, don't run through them - cones are used to BLOCK off-shoots where you should not run.


Friends are welcome to come out and cheer you on and take your picture.  Better yet, get them to race with you.  Even if they don't want to register for the entire package, each event is open for registration individually.  Also, runners can sign up for each event on the morning of the event starting at 8 AM.
