Location: MacGregor Downs Country Club (main venue address: 430 St. Andrews Ln., Cary, NC 27511)

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 10:00 - 11:00 AM - Player Check-in

• 10:45 - 11:00 AM - Welcome & Instructions

• 3:30 PM (Approximately) - Play Ends

• Immediately after Play - Snack Buffet at Club House

A boxed lunch catered by MacGregor Downs Country Club will be provided to all players at their cart before heading out on the course. 

A post-tournament snack buffet will be provided as players return to the club house. Please take your clubs to your vehicles and return your carts before heading to the buffet area.

• Mulligans - $20 per mulligan

  • Each mulligan includes 2 do-overs + 2 'red tees' drives

  • Women and players 80 years and over get 4 do-overs per mulligan

  • NO LIMIT on the number of mulligans that can be purchased by a player

• Stitch Premium Golf Equipment Raffle - $10 per raffle ticket

• #16 Par 3 Closest to Pin Challenge - $5

Rules Summary

• Format is Captains Choice. All players tee off and select the best shot. Alternate 4th shot if only 3 players. 

• Bogey is max score. Please move to the next hole if your group lies +1 on a hole.

• Keep up with group in front of you. The pace of play is 4.5 hours.  All play should be concluded between 3:45 – 4:00 PM.

• Scoring will be done through the Golf Genius App. One player from each team is asked to download the app, enter the GGID code provided, and enter the score after each hole. If there is a tie, a scorecard playoff will determine the winner using the USGA last 9,6,3 holes.

• Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams.

Weather: Don’t forget to check the weather before leaving the house, bring appropriate clothing, and to hydrate early! * Weather conditions are subject to change without warning. 

• Dress for the weather

• Bring sunscreen and sunglasses

• Bring a water bottle - stay hydrated

• Wear a jacket appropriate for the predicted weather

• Charge your cell phone and bring it with you

• Go to the restroom before being placed on the course. You will be glad you did!
