AFSP December Dash - CT

When someone dies by suicide, they affect everyone who knew and loved them. For those people, grief and trauma can be especially difficult. Because the death is self-inflicted, coming to terms with the reasons and the stigma associated with it often makes it hard to grapple with, which is why they need all the support they can get.

All donations will go to AFSP,  the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - CT Chapter.    AFSP's mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. We fund research to improve interventions, train clinicians in suicide prevention, and advocate for policy that will save lives as well as provide local education and outreach. 

The run can take place wherever you'd like - on a trail, in your neighborhood, in Massachusetts or anywhere else in the country - that's the best part about this virtual race! 

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN
Register for the race
Complete a 5k, 10k, or Half Marathon run/walk/bike at your convenience, any time, anywhere during December, 2020.
Submit your time to the "Results" tab above to see how you placed overall and receive your finisher certificate (optional).
