Run the Vineyards - Priam Vineyards 5K

Join us for this brand new Run the Vineyards destination at the highly regarded Priam Vineyards, a Winiarski Family Vineyard, and one of Connecticut's premier wineries.

Enjoy a scenic 5K race that combines a course through the 40 acre estate and some neighboring roads. More than a race...families and running groups create lifelong memories...combine fitness, fun, and wine!

Race Features:

• Chip-timed 5K Race starts at 9 AM. Live-streamed results from professional timer.

• Items Included: Wine Ticket for a Glass of Wine, Run the Vineyards Stemless Wine Glass, and High Quality Tech Shirt. Shirt styles - Women's, Men's/Unisex, and Youth options or upgrade to a Women's Racerback Tank Top for $5 extra. Men's Tank option for no added fee. *Please register by July 26 to guarantee your first choice of size/style. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after Aug. 2, however an optional item will be available if shirt supply runs out.

• Souvenir Finisher medals are available for $8 extra during registration, or $10 on race day.

• Well groomed and well marked course.

• Course marshals, water station, and finish line with water and bananas

After-Party:

• Awards to the Top 3 Male and Female Overall and Top 3 Male and Female Age Group Winners (Categories - Ages 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 yrs.)

• Live Musician Jeff Przech performs immediately after race until 12 noon.

• Priam's Award-winning Wines - one glass included for runners age 21+ ID required, additional wine available for purchase

• Munchies Food Truck on-site with many delicious food options

• Free downloadable race and after-party photos. Professional photographer on staff. Photos available 24-48 hrs after race. They are emailed and posted on the race page and social media. 

Race Day Schedule:

• Check-in: 7:30-8:30am. Please arrive and pick up race packet by 8:30 AM. Bag check and free parking provided.

• 8:50am: Race Announcements

• 9am: 5K Begins

• 9:30am - Noon: Post-race party featuring award-winning wines, captivating musician Jeff Przech, and amazing food truck Munchies. 

• 10:10am: Awards announcements near the musician.

• Noon: Winery remains open for daily offerings

Walkers and children are welcome to participate. Registration required to be on course for safety of all participants. SPECIAL PRICING - Children receive discounted price during registration, (wine ticket will not be included for minors). We kindly request 1 hour time limit for completing the 5K. Spectators are welcome!
