Angry Orchard Virtual 5K/7M Orchard Run

The CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to present a VIRTUAL16th Annual Angry Orchard 5K/7M Orchard Run sponsored by Angry Orchard Hard Cider on October 16-18 which would have been the 46th Annual Apple Harvest Festival. This run/walk is a "slice" of the Festival that is in compliance with current safety requirements due to the pandemic. This is a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce.

Swag: First 100 registrants will get an Angry Orchard T-shirt and Angry Orchard hat 
           Second 100 registrants get an Angry Orchard T-shirt 
Swag pick up: 2400 Main Street, Glastonbury on Friday, October 16, 4-6 pm; Saturday, October 17, 9-11 am

There are no awards for this event - all runners will be entered into a drawing for 3 prizes provided by Boston Beer Company

The Race Committee is recommending two virtual courses for your consideration, one being the Certified 5K in the area of the Festival Grounds and the other a 7M Orchard Run (point-to-point) on the hills in South Glastonbury.

• Start at Entrance to Riverfront Park, 300 Welles Street (by the soccer fields)
  Left on Welles Street toward Community Center
  Left on Naubuc Road
  Right on Glastonbury Boulevard
  Right on Main Street
  Right on Pratt Street
  Left on Naubuc Road
  Right into Riverfront Park
  Finish by Gazebo in Riverfront Park

• Start by (1) Scott's Orchard, 1838 New London Turnpike
  Left (S) on New London Turnpike
  Right on Chestnut Hill Road
  Left on Hopewell Road
  Left on Woodland Street
            (2) Dondero Orchards, 529 Woodland Street
            (3) Woodland Farm, 615 Woodland Street
  Right on Matson Hill Road
