Description
The City of Groton, Groton Police and Groton Parks and Recreation are partnering with Riverfront Children’s Center to bring back a popular Annual 5K Run/Walk. We will provide a family-friendly event that appeals to all ages and abilities. Strollers, wheelchairs and wagons are welcome! Bring the whole gang and help support Riverfront Children’s Center’s vital early childhood education programs. Refreshments will be provided to all participants. Popular food trucks will be present with all your favorite snacks to refuel and there will also be several raffle items from local businesses. 5K shotgun is 9:30 AM, Family walk begins at 9:45 AM
Early bird price: $25 before/on 08/28/2021, On and after 08/29/2021 and same day registrations are $30 Family walk is $10 at any point. Kids under 5 walk free.
Tee shirts will be guaranteed for runners registering before 08/28/2021. Runners registering on or after 08/29/2021 will be provided tees as available. Race day registration available- Must pick up bib between 8:15 to 9:15 AM.
Award: Top 3 female finishers; Top 3 male finishers
