Bimbler's Bash Cancellation
In light of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) precautions that have restricted gatherings in public places, the 2020 Bimbler's Bash Trail Race that was planned to take place on April 5, has been cancelled. Anyone who has registered for the event may elect to receive a refund of their entry fee or request that the money is donated to the Guilford Land Conservation Trust, the organization that annually benefits from the proceeds from the race.

Advance Registration
Advance registration has been suspended while a decision is made as to whether or not to cancel the event. At this time, due to the Corona Virus outbreak, there is a state wide moratorium on events that involve over 250 people and there is no clear indication as to when this restriction will be lifted. If the event is cancelled, all participants currently registered will be offered the opportunity to receive a refund of their entry fee.

Description
The Bimbler's Bash 10K (ish) has been an annual event since 2007 that has become popular event for competitive runners and family groups. In terms of participation in a single distance, the Bash is the largest event of it's type in Connecticut. The course is an entirely off-road loop within Westwoods, Guilford made up from a series of interconnecting single track hiking trails. Participants should expect to negotiate lots of rocks, roots and possibly get your feet wet, plus with two rock scrambles be prepared for an adventure! This is a true trail race and the technical nature of the terrain will mean that you will be exposed to the risk of injury. While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure your safety and enjoyment, you must be prepared to accept full responsibility for these risks and sign the liability waiver on the application form as a condition of your entry.

- Before April 4 - $25. $30 on race day
- Group of 5 - $100 (Not available on race day)

- Registration opens 7:00 am
- Race starts 9:00 am
DIRECTIONS
The race starts and finishes at A. W. Cox Elementary School, 143 Three Mile Course, Guilford, Connecticut 06437. From I95 – Exit 57, turn onto Boston Post Rd/US-1 towards Guilford. After approximately 1 mile, take second right into 3 Mile Course (second right after Bishop’s Market). At intersection of 3 Mile Course and Farmview Lane turn left on to 3 Mile Course Road. Parking is limited, please car pool if at all possible.
