Celebrate the beginning of a New Year by participating in the 38th annual Frosty 5K New Year's Day race hosted by the Guilford Rotary Club. As New Year's Day 2023 falls on a Sunday, the event which includes a certified 5K run, 2-mile health walk, and a Kids Fun Run, will start opposite Calvin Leete School and finish at East Creek Landing (formerly, Knights of Columbus), 390 S Union St, Guilford. The course will take you past many iconic sights in this celebrated coastal New England town - the green, marina, and fairgrounds. Packet pick up day of race will be at the East Creek Landing (Knights of Columbus) as will post race awards, and refreshments, including hot clam chowder!
Registration will only be possible via this online platform and with it you will be able to register until 10:30 am on race day, January 1, 2023. All registered participants will be able to collect bib/race packets from Branford soundRUNNER Friday, Dec. 30 from 10-6 and Saturday from 10-4, or at East Creek Landing prior to race start. Immediately following the race, refreshments and award presentations will take place immediately after the race. Those picking up packets at Sound Runner are offered a 20% discount on running merchandise that day from the Branford Sound Runner.

Warm The Children is a non-profit organization providing new winter clothing for needy children on the shoreline. With community support, Rotary volunteers take families in need shopping for coats, boots, gloves and other apparel.
The Guilford Rotary Club Memorial Educational Fund, Inc. provides scholarships to people seeking educational financial aid for job training, community colleges and under graduate and graduate studies at colleges and universities. In 2020, we awarded a total of $24,000 in scholarships.
The Guilford 2009 Boys Soccer Team invites you to help support New Haven’s Community Soup Kitchen at the Frosty 5K on race day. The Soup Kitchen caters to more than 250 guests each day, your contribution will help the kitchen buy much needed hot beverage equipment to warm the hearts and hands of their growing community. Let us warm your hands on race day by stopping by our table at the finish to purchase hot cocoa and hand warmers. All proceeds will benefit the soup kitchen.
