Lobster Fest Shoreline Road Race

The Lobster Fest Shoreline Road Race kicks off this year's Guilford Rotary Lobster Fest Event. Come run or walk, then join us for a fun filled lunch time picnic with live music, lobster roll and beer! Post race food and drink is included in your race entry, additional food and drinks may also be purchased on the day.

In addition to the lobster picnic, there will also be a number of other activities to ensure everyone enjoys a fun filled afternoon on the CT Shoreline: 

• Silent auction
• Live bands: Shoreline Connection and a second band to be announced soo
• Bounce house for kids
• Lawn games for everyone to enjoy

Accompanying the 5K road race will be a2 mile fitness walk and kids fun run. The 5K will follow a certified route through picturesque Guilford and encompass the marina and town green. A race shirt will be provided to all 5K and 2M entrants. (Please note shirt availability and/or size preference will be limited to stock on hand at race check in for registrations made after June 4, 2024.)

Advance race check in / shirt pickup will be available on June 29 at Marathon Sports (formerly SoundRunner)  1088 Main Street in Branford, CT from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Please note that registration is only available online until 10:00 am on race day morning. Remember to allow plenty of time to park and check in to collect your race number before the start at 10:00 am.

Entry Fees

• 5K or Fitness walk
  • Before May 1 - $35
  • Before June 21 - $40
  • Thereafter $45
  • 5K and Walk entry includes a race shirt and ticket to the Lobster Picnic which includes lobster roll (burger / veggie patties / hot dog alternatives available), plus beer or non-alcoholic beverage. Additional food and drinks may also be purchased.
• Kids Fun Run - $10 (Picnic ticket and race shirt, not included)

  • Saturday June 29, 2024 4:00 - 6:00 pm
• Race day check in and bib collection from 8:00 am
• Kids Fun Run start - 10:45 am
• 5K Run and 2M Walk start - 11:00 am

• Top overall male and female 5K finishers
• Top male & female finishers in each age groups:
  • 12 & under
  • 13-19
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60-69
  • 70-79
  • 80+
• Fun Runners will each receive finisher ribbons
