Join us for the CFA Society Hartford Corporate 5K at Bushnell Park!  Starting near the Arch in Bushnell Park, the flat out and back course passes the State Capitol and a number of historic buildings. Tech tees to the first 700 entrants! All remaining entrants receive cotton tees.The event benefits The Connection, Inc. 

Businesses and non-profit organizations are invited to form teams. Individuals are welcome also. The event helps promote health & wellness in the workplace, camaraderie among employees, and friendly competition!

Team Competition: All team members must complete individual entry form and note Company Name and Team Category (Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Masters, Women’s Masters). Teams can be unlimited in size but must have a minimum of 3 members. Top 3 runners on each team score. Companies may enter an unlimited number of teams. For Men’s & Women’s Masters categories, all members must be 40+. Team members must be employed by the organization. Mixed team compete in the Men’s Open category. Awards: Individual male & female finishers in the following age categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Top 3 teams in the following categories: Women’s Open, Men’s Open, Women’s Master, Men’s Master’s. Also, fastest CEO/President in 3 company size categories, top fundraising team, top fundraising individual and largest team to participate.

The race benefits The Connection, a local organization that helps people build safe, healthy, caring communities and inspires people to reach their full potential as productive and valued citizens. The Connection is a statewide human services and community development agency that provides unique solutions to the problems of homelessness, mental illness, substance use and community justice rehabilitation. Funds raised at the race will be used where they are needed most in our diverse programs across the state. The Connection assists nearly 12,000 Connecticut residents each year with stable housing, behavioral health and substance use treatment.
