Warm Welcome from The Quinebaug River CDC,
We are a non-profit volunteer organization, with past successful partnerships like the annual Sunflower 6K, Griswold P.R.I.D.E.’s Drug Enforcement Dog (Troop E) plus annual town events with the local Griswold Youth Center. We are all volunteers, we work together and all proceeds go to projects around our town!
Our purpose is to build a splash pad, outdoor active/passive recreation/entertainment area for at-risk youth of Jewett City, giving families a daily place to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Borough, with views of the water three out of the four sides of the property… it is beautiful.
How can we make families say.... "LET'S GO TO JEWETT CITY!!"

What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running or walking these virtual races on your own, or with friends!
