Description
Hero To Hero 5k will be at the beautiful White Memorial in Litchfield, Connecticut. During the 3.1miles you will pass by a combination of trails thru the woods, gravel roads, and water features sustainable for runners and walkers of all skill levels. Stick around after the race for award ceremony, raffle prizes, and snacks!
Hero To Hero is a 501c3 non profit organization providing our military veterans with a purposeful career serving as first responders. Founded and led by US military veterans and first responders, we are driven by the quality of candidates our American hero’s truly are. High levels of military veterans, homelessness and mental health illness exist at the same time as there is a shortage of first responders in our communities. We believe flooding our communities with high performing, veteran's, as first responders, addresses both the issues.
