Beards & Beers 5k

The fifth annual Beards & Beers 5k is a flat and fast course starting off on Chapel Road in Manchester. The course will traverse through sections of South Windsor before finishing at the offices of MMNT Certified Public Accountants, where you'll be greeted by men and women with beards, beers, food, and a great post-race party. Please join us as we "Back the Beards" to assist MMNT Foundation in raising funds to support charities that are making a difference locally. The primary race beneficiary is the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity at Saint Francis. The Center for Health Equity works as a resource for the community and addresses disparities in health care and provides community engagement, patient education and training, health advocacy, and health screenings, particularly in the areas of prostate cancer and diabetes. Post-race party includes music, FREE beer (21+ only, valid ID required), FREE food, giveaways, and more for the runners! Spectators are encouraged to make a minimum $10.00 donation. The Beards & Beers 5k is a Certified USATF Course - #CT15031JHP. The race will start at 11:00 a.m. with convenient parking available across the street, on the grass at 61 Chapel Rd. There will be NO parking at MMNT as this is our staging area. Registration, restrooms and post-race party will take place at MMNT - along with the start and finish line. While the primary goal of this race is to raise money for men's health, we want as many ladies participating as possible too! MMNT Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization under IRC §501(c)(3), a portion of the race entry fee and/or contributions may be tax-deductible as provided by law, please consult your tax professional.

Parking Location & Information
Parking will be located at 61 CHAPEL RD., MANCHESTER, CT 06042. There is NO PARKING in the parking lots of MMNT, Raymour & Flanigan or Hartford Distributors. Parking will only be allowed on the grass located between Raymour & Flanigan and Hartford Distributors. On race day, please look for parking signs & parking attendants to direct you where to park.
