Running Over Cancer Race Series

Are you ready to race around the track? And support a great cause like Relay for Life? Well then this race is for you! All net proceeds (entry fees minus race operating costs) will be donated to Team Susan's Sunrise of Relay for Life Meriden-Wallingford.

Come early or stick around after and visit the various team's tables. Most of the teams offer an array of raffle prizes to buy tickets for, and also food or merchandise for sale to benefit Relay for Life. Or just walk around and be a part of the great community that makes up Relay for Life.

WHEN: May 20, 2017. On-site registration starts at 7:30AM. Day of registration available up until 15 minutes of each race.

Three separate timed races available on race day:
1 Mile Race #1 (4 laps) at 8:15AM
1 Mile Race #2 (4 laps) at 8:45AM
3 Mile Race (12 laps) at 9:30AM

WHERE: Francis T Maloney High School Track, 121 Gravel Street, Meriden, CT. Registration will be at a table set up on the track during the Meriden-Wallingford Relay for Life event.

COST: $10 cash day of registration, $10 (+$2.00 transaction fee) for online registration. Every entry gets a free raffle ticket to use at Team Susan's Sunrise's raffle table.

WAIVER: I know that running a road race is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them.  I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road and sidewalks, and all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or roller blades, and animals are not allowed in the race and I will abide by all race rules. Personal music players are allowed at the runner’s own risk. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the race director, the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life Meriden-Wallingford, the City of Meriden, all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.  I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
