11th Annual Sunshine Kids 3.59 mile Road Race. Run or walk (USATF Certified Course) This event to date has donated about $38,000 since its creation.
RE: Covid 19 - Please be respectful of others and bring and wear your mask until you start running or walking. All participants please be aware of each other’s personal space while running, walking, hanging out, lining up at the starting line, picking up your bib and buying raffle tickets . Food volunteers will be wearing masks and all food will be individual wrap and there will be hand sanitizer on the tables.

Who are the Sunshine Kids? The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, we are committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
1. Timed Registration Fee 25.00 per entry
2. Un-Timed Walk Fee 20.00 per entry - No bib
3. Kids run is $5.00 ( no shirt for kids run, But they get a very cool goody bag)
4. Online Registration closes 11/4/20 -- Same day Reg until 9:50am
5. Kids 1/4 run Starts at 9:30am ****** 3.59 Miler Starts at 10am
6. Please arrive at least 1hr early to pick up Bib .
All course signs are hand made by local kids, The Brown Middle School students in Madison & one very cute Bunny
Keep an eye out for the most famous sign " Chemo Is Worse"
Once the race is paid for: 100% of the proceeds goes to the Sunshine kids.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the Overall Top Female and Male Finishers. Then in 8 age groups Male/Female. Plus my favorite award "The Perseverance Award". This award goes to the last 2 people to finish.

Out & Back Route: 3.59 miles that will take you through 1,100 acres of Apple Trees & gorgeous scenic views on rolling hills course. Start/End in Parking lot of Apple Barrel, Cut through Homestead Right onto Lyman Rd go up past the Golf course, Cross over RT 157 First Right onto South St until the end and turn around head back the same way crossing back over RT 157 to Lyman Rd cut back through driveway of the Homestead and ending in the parking lot of the Apple Barrel. Remember what goes up must come down:)-
