Description

2027 is our second year of our newest trail race!  Join Kelley's Pace and Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center for a timed 5K trail race through high meadows, woods, and fields of Coogan Farm and the Nature Center!

The race starts and finishes at Coogan Farm,162 Greenmanville Ave, Mystic, CT.  Please note the 2027 trail run is capped at 150 participants, so don't delay in signing up!  

Race day schedule (Saturday, June 5 at Coogan Farm):

  • 8:30am:  Packet pick-up for runners (closes at 9:15am)
  • 9:30am:  Trail race start
  • 9:35am:  Ramble (walk) start (NOTE:  This requires separate registration at https://dpnc.org/ramble/ )

After the event enjoy the awards ceremony, light food, and drinks and meet the Nature center animal ambassadors.

Entry fees (no additional fees apply):

  • $31 until May 14th
  • $36 from May 15th to June 4th
  • $41 race day (online only, NO paper registrations)

Note:  Ages 6-10 pay $20 regardless on when signing up.  Ages 5 and under may attend for free.  Strollers and other equipment are not allowed on the trails.

Shoe Demo

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup on race day will be open from 8:30am to 9:15am at Coogan Farm.

There will not be any early packet pickup for this event.

Beneficiary

Proceeds will benefit the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, one of the oldest, continually operating environmental organizations in Connecticut.  Since 1946, this non-profit organization has provided the community and visitors with opportunities to better understand and appreciate the natural world and our place in it.
