Police Pumpkin Chase

5K through the fields and trails of Waveny Park and New Canaan H.S.

Please note that in keeping with state guidelines for road races there will be NO IN PERSON REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY. Online registration will remain open until the start time; runners can register at home before arriving at the race site or on their phones there, then check in for their bib and T-shirt. 

When you arrive at the race site, please line up to check in while maintaining social distance (we'll place cones at 6-foot intervals to help). Grab a bib out of the box, give the race volunteer your name and the bib number, and they will tell you what shirt size you ordered. Continue down the line and grab the appropriate size from the four piles of shirts.

Your time will start when you cross the mat. The start line will remain open for 10 minutes (after that we need to switch it over to the finish line for the first finishers).. After you finish, please keep moving past the line and do not congregate in large groups. We will serve the traditional post-race pumpkin pie; to maintain proper distance the plates will be placed at intervals along the pool building walkway. Please maintain social distance while enjoying your repast.
