Kids Dress for Success Run/Walk

Kids Dress for Success, a project of the all-volunteer Community Service Club of New Fairfield, provides back to school clothes and supplies for eligible New Fairfield students in K-5.  Children, with their parent’s consent, are eligible if they receive free or reduced lunch.  Each participating child receives two outfits, pajamas, socks and underwear, sneakers, coat, backpack and school supplies.  

The events will take place at the Rebel Stadium track next to New Fairfield High School.  

• There will be informal walk only between 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 am of four laps (one mile) or more for walkers who desire a more leisurely untimed walking exercise.
• There will be three one-mile run/walks at half hour intervals at 10:30 am – 11:00 am, 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 am, and 11:30 am – 12 noon for the more serious folks.  These are no frill run/walks that are hand timed.

4 laps = One Mile

As an incentive, stop by registration area for a free raffle ticket whenever you complete 4 laps.  Raffle for local prizes will be drawn for 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20+ lap runners or walkers.
