HMF FitKids Fun Run - 10:30 am
Join hundreds of fellow Santas on this festive holiday race through the historic district of New London. Celebrate the holidays with the fast 2.5 miler that starts and finishes on Bank Street and loops around historic Fort Trumbull State Park. Bring Santa’s little helpers for the HMF FitKids Run- a ½ mile race for kids ages 2-11. Entry includes a complete Santa suit along with a merry post-race party at Hot Rod Cafe including a free beer (over 21) or beverage. Get your Santa on in style! Decorate, embellish, bedazzle or jolly-up your Santa suit – awards will be provided for the most festive adult and child costume. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Covenant Shelter of New London, an emergency shelter for families in need. Please also consider a donation of paper goods (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper etc.) to help with urgent needs of the shelter.
