No blarney, this is a fast and flat 5K! Get in your favorite green gear for a St. Paddy’s themed race that starts and finishes in front of Niantic Bay Bicycles. Run by the quiet, off-season cottages in the Pine Grove community of Niantic, then celebrate your finish with a post-race party at Smarty’s Restaurant & Pub.
Bring your little leprechauns for the Wee Mile, a 100 yards, ½ mile or one mile race for kids ages 2-11. All participants receive a custom finisher’s medal, an o’swanky pair of texting gloves, an ice cold beer (21+ with valid ID) and delicious chili, made fresh at Smarty’s Restaurant & Pub. Niantic is one of HMF’s favorite shoreline spots, offering beautiful views of Long Island Sound, various restaurants and pubs, and locally owned stores and antique shops. Take on the Lucky Challenge- run all 4 O’races across Connecticut and earn the big bling!
