Due to the ongoing social distancing restrictions, the Shamrock 5K Run and Wee-Mile is going VIRTUAL. Participants already registered for the March 14th actual race have options. Here they are:
Participants who opt for the virtual race will have until June 30 to complete their run and post their times by July 1.
Trophies for the overall first place male and female will be mailed out to their registration address.
Race T-shirts and Goodie Bag
Race shirts and goodie bags will be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis.
Due to prevailing public health concerns relating to the Conronavirus outbreak, we have been required to postpone this event. Further details concerning alternative arrangements will be posted as soon as possible.

☘️Go green and get your Irish on at the 4th annual Shamrock 5K Run to benefit St. John School! Bring your little leprechaun for the wee ½ mile race for kids ages 2-11. State of the art RFID chip timing system. First 150 registrants get a free long sleeve T-shirt. Trophy for male and female winners. Live broadcast from 94.9 and 106.5. All participants enjoy finish line photos, complementary beverage stub good for one free beer/non-alcoholic drink at the famous Monkey Farm Café, games, bagpipe music, refreshments and more!

☘️Course Description: No blarney, this is a fast and flat 3.1-mile racecourse! Cruse along the beautiful scenic roads of historical Old Saybrook, and sweep along the Connecticut River and marshes throughout the picturesque North Cove Road area. The race starts and finishes at the site of the original Fort Saybrook on the corner of Bridge and College Street.
Registration is at the Saybrook Pavillion.
