6 Mile Cross Country Trail Race

Join us for our 11th Annual run through the woods!

Gail's Trail Run will take place in Huntington State Park in Redding, CT. The 6 mile cross country race is mostly carriage trail with enough hills for you to leave your competition behind (or them you). You should expect to negotiate lots of rocks, roots and you will get your feet wet and muddy. This trail race has something for everyone, fast carriage trails, hills (yes more than one) and a scramble.

Fees

10/19/2014 at 12:00am the price will increase to $45.00.
12/06/2014 at 12:00am the price will increase to $50.00.

Registration opens: 7:00am

Race Start: 8:00am

Directions to Race:

Collis P. Huntington State Park Parking On Old Dodgingtown Road- SUNSET HILL LOT

Off I-95: Take exit 17. Take Route 136 north for 9 miles. At the intersection of Route 136 and Route 58, take Route 58 north for 10.4 miles. Then take a right onto Sunset Hill Road and follow of a mile to the parking lot on right.

Off Merritt Parkway Southbound: Take Exit 42. Take Route 136 north for 5.2 miles. At the intersection of Route 136 and Route 58, follow Route 58 for 10.4 miles. Then take a right onto Sunset Hill Road and follow directions as above.

Off Merritt Parkway Northbound: Take Exit 44. Take Route 58 North for approximately 13.4 miles. Turn right onto Sunset Hill and follow directions as listed above.
